Join us for our next Messy Church which will be on 6th September

There will be no August Messy Church

Please note there will be no August Messy Church on 2nd August but you are able to join us for our regular Sunday Service at The Business Enterprise Centre 

Our next Messy Church will be on Sunday 6th September 2015 - at Forest Youth Wing, The Forest School, Comptons Lane, Horsham RH13 5NT.

Altogether Messy Church - Compassion

July 2015.   -  The theme was about “Compassion” where we were reminded that we serve a compassionate God

Compassion Definition:  

• A deep awareness of and sympathy for another’s suffering.
• The humane quality of understanding the suffering of others and wanting to do something about it.

God is compassionate - Key Scriptures     John 3:16-17NIV

Exodus 3:7NIV        Mark 1:40-42NLT       Mark 6:34NLT      Psalm 103:13-14NLT

God wants us to be compassionate like Him -   We looked at some of the ways can we show compassion

• Compassion towards children.  We watched a video on the progress of Home Of Peace 

 

We also heard about Happy Child International from Daniel and Sarah

• Compassion by supporting projects overseas e,g   Moldova,  Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF)

• Compassion to the homeless in Horsham –  The ARK
• Compassion by praying
• Compassion through counselling & caring
